Property Insurance Program

State-owned buildings and other property are insured against damage or destruction from various hazards under the state of Georgia's self-insured Risk Management Services' Property Insurance Program. Examples of other property covered under the program are office equipment, motor vehicles, aircraft, watercraft, and other types of mobile equipment.

Emergency Claims Notification
Should be used ONLY if loss occurs after normal business hours Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Use the attached form to report details of the property loss. After-hour contact information is included.

Forms
Used to notify and assist the evaluation of Property related claims. Notice of Loss used for Building & Personal Property, Vehicles and All Risk Agreement claim notification. Lightning Affidavit used to confirm lightning coverage. Sworn Proof of Loss used to process reimbursement payment to the agencies.

Property Registry
DOAS provides building and content insurance coverage based on properties and values reported by each agency. The new web-based property registry enables registered users to access and update their existing information online.
