The Surplus Property Division is responsible for the redistribution and disposal of state personal property and serves as the State Agency for Surplus Property (SASP) for the federal personal property disposal programs.

Mission
 The mission of DOAS Surplus Property Division is to ensure the equitable and appropriate redistribution and disposal of Georgia State and Federal personal property to state and municipal governments, and eligible non-profit organizations.

In order to accomplish this mission, the Surplus Customer Service Team is available to support agencies in the disposal and acquisition of surplus property. Additionally, the team is available to provide suggestions regarding the best methods of surplus property disposal

STEVE EKIN

STEVE EKIN
Director
Surplus Property Division
 
Steve Ekin serves as the Director of the Surplus Property Division and has been a member of DOAS' leadership team since February, 2005. Prior to joining DOAS, Mr. Ekin was the Director of Operations for an international import company where he was responsible for daily operations and logistics of a high volume distribution/manufacture facility.

Mr. Ekin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and is a Certified Professional Property Administrator from the National Property Management Association. He is retired from the US Coast Guard.

LISA MOGHAZY

LISA MOGHAZY
Program Operations Manager
 
Lisa Moghazy serves as the Program Operations Manager for Surplus Property. She joined DOAS in January of 2005 as an Internet Sales Coordinator. She has over 14 years of experience in property management, inventory control, and customer service with the federal government.


GARRY PARKER

GARY PARKER
Surplus Area Manager
 
Gary Parker serves as the Surplus Area Manager. He joined DOAS in May of 1979 and has an extensive background in the redistribution of federal and state surplus property.

Surplus Area Manager
 
June Jones serves as the Surplus Area Manager. She joined DOAS in December of 1981 and has an extensive background in the redistribution of federal and state surplus property.
