The Department of Administrative Services' (DOAS') Office of Fleet Management centralizes state government's motor vehicle fleet management functions. Through policies and procedures the program provides guidance on vehicle purchases, assignment, usage, maintenance, operation, and disposal. Centralization of the state's fleet management functions ensures efficient and cost-effective operation of the state's motor vehicle fleet, minimizing the life-cycle costs associated with vehicle ownership. Fleet Management provides motor vehicle services for state and local governments.

The Georgia Department of Administrative Services, State Purchasing Division, has established a new Statewide Contract with Enterprise Rent-a-Car for both instate rentals and operation of the Capitol Hill Motor Pool.
