So, what is Window Shopper?
Window Shopper is a website that provides you with access into a repository of online catalogs for Statewide Contract items. It allows you to quickly search for items for your agency or government organization, to review and compare prices, as well as gain item information needed to create a purchase order in a manner very similar to the experience you have when shopping online at home.
 
Who is able to use Window Shopper?

Window Shopper is designed for state agencies, colleges and universities, and Georgia municipalities who do not have access to the Team Georgia Marketplace application. If you are already a State Accounting Office (SAO) PeopleSoft user, especially one who creates purchase orders (PO) and acts as an agency PO buyer, it is likely we have already registered you to use Window Shopper.  You will just need to obtain your ID and password. If you are not a SAO PeopleSoft user or do not perform the job of an agency PO buyer, you will need to register, which is a quick and simple process.  An online tutorial will be provided to you next week with instructions on how to register and use Window Shopper.

Once registered, users can log in and then search for items they wish to purchase. Window Shopper does not create purchase orders but it does provide a great deal of information in a user friendly manner and can accelerate the purchasing process. No longer will you have to go to the State Purchasing Division website and navigate through cumbersome contracts searching for items, you will simply go to Window Shopper.  It will contain all the information you need to make your purchase.
